On Friday, March 29th, 2019, Lee & Associates NYC said goodbye to 600 Madison Avenue, our home for the last eight years. After undergoing significant expansion in both business and personnel over the past 12 months, the company simply outgrew the space. As a result, we are excited to announce that we have relocated to 845 Third Avenue, where all Lee & Associates NYC businesses will be housed under the same roof for the first time.
The fourth floor of 845 Third Avenue consists of 26,000 SF of office space that we built out to accommodate our rapidly growing team. The space includes four conference rooms, state-of-the art facilities, and ample room to accommodate our flourishing company, which in the last year added a nine-person investment sales team, grew the brokerage by 50%, and added several staff members, including three new professionals to our dynamic in-house marketing team. The deal for 845 Third Avenue was brokered by Mitchell Kunikoff, and the project has been managed by Darren Schumer, head of our project management division.
The space at 845 Third Avenue will house not only Lee & Associates NYC, but will also be the office for the company’s residential arm, Lee & Associates Residential NYC. Lee & Associates Residential NYC exclusively represents more than 300 apartments throughout the five boroughs, and is known for providing professional, integrity-driven, consistent, and reliable advisory. Until recently, they were headquartered at 875 Sixth Avenue.
In conjunction with the move, Lee & Associates NYC has rebranded our commercial property management and project management businesses, Sierra Real Estate and Sierra Development Associates, now known as Lee & Associates Management and Lee & Associates Development. Since 1953, Sierra Real Estate has been a steady presence in New York City real estate, providing commercial and residential property management services while maintaining the highest standards of professionalism, responsiveness, and efficiency. Currently, and as rebranded, Lee & Associates Management manages approximately 700,000 square feet of commercial office space, 400 market-rate and rent-regulated apartments and approximately 100 retail stores in New York City. The physical merger of all our businesses will allow our teams to work together seamlessly, and allow our professionals the ability to go above and beyond for our clients.
