Jonathan Miller is an Executive Managing Director and Principal in Lee & Associates’ New York office. He specializes in the sale of net leased land under major buildings in Manhattan.
Jonathan Miller has been selling investment real estate for overty forty years and has completed transactions aggregating more than one billion dollars. He has sold include office buildings, apartment buildings, shopping centers, garden apartments, hotels, and retail condominiums. The development sites he has assembled includes the easterly block front on Third Avenue, 60th and 61st Street. It was assembled for Joseph E. Levine, a movie producer, and later resold to the Bowery Savings Bank. It was subsequently acquired by and developed by the Milstein Organization.
Mr. Miller specializes in the sale of land under prime New York buildings subject to long term NNN lease. A partial list of these transactions includes land under The Trump International Hotel at Columbus Circle, land under Nike Town on 57th Street, land under 720 Fifth Avenus (three times), land under 460 Park Avenue at 57th Street (twice), land under 444 Madison Avenue (currently the Burberry Building), and the NE corner of 57 West 57th Street. He has sold more major net leased “Blue Chip” investment properties in New York than almost anyone.
Mr. Miller won the REBNY “Most Ingenious Deal of The Year” Award for a transaction involving the creation of the flagship store for Barneys New York at 61st Street and Madison Avenue. REBNY also recognized another creative transaction involving a sale of the Uited Nations of a property on First Avenue and 45th Street, across from the UN.
